Producer, Director: Geoffrey Brent Shrewsbury
Geoffrey is a graduate of the Film and Television Program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Having spent several years between high school and college exploring the key element of filmmaking, life, Geoffrey is now a qualified mechanic, carpenter, set electrician, assistant camera operator, scuba diver, and musician, among other things. Geoffrey's films and music videos have screened at festivals worldwide, and he has traveled similarly. Geoffrey aims to tell stories that evoke emotions. He says, "Giving people, including myself, something to believe in is very important now, more than ever. And interested in breathing fresh air into the increasingly stale American culutre, I say, 'This is only the Beginning.'"
Geoffrey's current work includes the petroleum conservation initiative: Driving For Freedom, as well as his senior thesis film, "A Bird In the Hand." His website is newperspectivefilms.org.
